Dear Fellow Residents,
Monday, November 11 is Veterans Day and we pause as a nation to express our gratitude and appreciation to every man or woman who has ever served in our military. Their brave and selfless service to our country is the backbone of our democracy and protects the freedom we often take for granted. Veterans Day is a holiday to reflect on and celebrate our heroes in uniform.
On behalf of the Harrison Township community, I offer our sincere thanks to all Veterans for volunteering to stand on that wall as part of the finest military force in the world. We are all in your debt and we are proud of you everyday, not just today.
You can honor a veteran with a memorial brick on Hero Lane at The Harrison Township Veterans Memorial located at the entrance of the William Wilt Soccer Complex. Orders can be placed by contacting Diane Malloy at email@example.com.
Please take a moment to view the many events posted in Happening in the Hill that honor our Veterans this weekend.
God bless our veterans and all our troops. God bless Harrison Township and our residents. And may God always bless the United States of America and everything it represents.
