Happy Thanksgiving from the Mayor

Thanksgiving is a time to join with family and friends and give thanks for the blessings and freedoms that we enjoy everyday.

I am thankful for my loving family and so appreciative of the opportunity to serve as your Mayor. I am thankful that we have active and caring citizens who are involved in our community. And I’m thankful for our township employees, who work hard every day to provide you with superior services and amenities.

Nothing reflects our involved community and our committed township employees more than our annual Lights on Main event, taking place this weekend. I hope that you and your family will join me Saturday on Main Street for the lighting of the township Christmas tree and the festivities of the evening. You can find a complete guide to Lights on Main here.

Please consider supporting our local businesses and merchants as you shop for gifts during the holiday season. They are an invaluable part of what makes Harrison Township so special.

As you celebrate Thanksgiving, remember to reach out to those who are less fortunate. A giving spirit makes for a strong community.

I wish you and your family a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

Your Mayor,
Louis Manzo
