Welcoming our First EVER K-9 unit to the police force

Please join in the celebration and swearing in of Dunkin, the new four-legged member of the Police Department!

To Our Harrison Family,

Please join in the celebration and swearing in of Dunkin, the new four-legged member of the Police Department. Dunkin’ is a 1-year-old German Shepherd and the first-ever K-9 unit of our police force. The celebration takes place at the Police Station and begins at 1pm on Tuesday, February 22. Joining me is Chief of Police Ronald A. Cundey, Gloucester County Commissioner Frank Dimarco, Deputy Director Heather Simmons and Dunkin’ franchisee Kenny Patel. The festivities will include the Dunkin’ Community Cruiser on-site handing out Hot and Iced Coffee.

Dunkin’ was donated by 15-year Mullica Hill resident and Mullica Hill Dunkin’ stores’ owner-operator, Kenny Patel. Kenny told us, “I wanted to give back to the community who has supported me and my family for so many years. The Harrison Township Police Department keeps our community safe; I admire their fearlessness, courage, and commitment to the residents and businesses in our hometown.”

Thank you Kenny Patel, you are a great example of Harrison Strong!

I hope to see you at this special occasion.
