Homeward Bound at Critical Level of Capacity

Homeward Bound, a local animal welfare agency, is at a critical level with nearly 150 dogs being housed. This level requires the use of all available floor space and pop-up shelters. They are in urgent need of loving families to adopt and foster families willing to help.

Homeward Bound, the leading animal welfare agency in the region with the highest intake and the highest save rate, achieving 96% in 2021, is currently at a critical level of capacity. Even with adoption specials, fosters families stepping up and relocating animals to partner rescue, they are nearing 150 dogs. This is critically beyond their capacity. Forcing the staff to maximize the use of all available floor space and deploy pop-up shelters.

Homeward Bound is urgently seeking loving families for adoption and fosters in support of this dire situation.
