Two Great Events One Fun Saturday

May 14 will be full of family fun on Main Street!
The Mullica Hill Art Center and Mullica Hill Business Association invite you to their Best of Gloucester County Arts & Crafts Festival. This 11-year tradition offers works from artists presenting a variety of mediums, including paintings, sculpture, photography and more, in addition to artesian crafters. In all, there will be nearly 100 vendors. This event also includes creative activities for adults and children, plus an array of food vendors.
Along with the Arts & Crafts festivities, our Historical Society will host the Centennial celebration of the first-flight of produce in the U.S., happening at Old Town Hall. This history-making flight took place on May 17, 1922, when 1,000 pounds of asparagus were flown from the Hill to Boston. Learn More
The Historical Society’s Asparagus Festival includes several of our local chefs preparing the top recipes from the recently held Recipe Contest. Ticket holders will choose the winners for the best asparagus dishes in four categories: Appetizers, main dish, side and dessert.
You’ll also receive a copy of the official Asparagus Festival E-Cookbook containing all of the recipes submitted.
The Mullica Hill Women’s Triathlon Club is joining in on the fun by offering your choice of a 15 or 30-mile bike ride. This is an open-road, self-guided ride (not a race). Every participant will receive a bunch of locally grown, fresh Jersey asparagus upon completion of the ride. More Details and Tickets
