This is trip offers a powerful view of the events of that fateful day. The Memorial is a reminder of the loss of life and the Museum displays artifacts, presents stories, and explores 9/11’s continuing significance.
Remembering Dr. Irene Hill-Smith

Learn about the life of Dr. Irene Hill-Smith at the Harrison Township Historical Society’s Spring Program. Dr. Hill-Smith was a civil rights activist born in Mullica Hill. Admission is free; tickets are available online at the Harrison Township Historical Society’s public Facebook page. The program will also be live-streamed.
Honor a Veteran with a Memorial Brick

Pay tribute to someone who has served or is currently serving in the military by ordering a memorial brick. These new bricks will be added to the William Wilt Memorial. Orders must be received by March 3rd.
War Monuments and Memorials

This pre-Veterans Day exploration of the War Monuments and Memorials in our surrounding areas will include a pictorial tour for history buffs by Councilmember Dave Porreca. The event is sponsored by Holy Name Knights of Columbus Council 12503, and refreshments will be served after the event.

The inaugural Etta Jane Heiser Memorial 5K Run and 1 Mile walk will honor a dedicated friend and treasurer of GCLS.
