Celebrating Woman Owned Businesses in Mullica Hill

In celebration of Women’s History Month in Harrison Township, IDEA Board member Elyse Bittner conducted interviews with some of the woman business owners in our hometown.

To Our Harrison Family,

This is my last reminder to complete the new survey that was developed by our IDEA board so we can gain a better understanding of your opinion as it relates to feeling welcome, included and supported in our community. We are looking forward to the results and the feedback you provide. Your input and our promise to hear it is what makes us Harrison Strong!

As promised, in celebration of Women’s History Month in Harrison Township, IDEA Board member Elyse Bittner conducted interviews with some of the woman business owners in our hometown. She quickly came to realize just how many businesses in Mullica Hill are woman-owned. Her original plan was to highlight several businesses in a single article, but that has now morphed into likely writing multiple articles. The reality is, we are blessed with so many great stories.

As Elyse began to have conversations, she consistently heard stories of sisterhood, support and empowerment from these women business owners. This is Elyse’s first entry highlighting eight local businesses and the sensational women who own them. There will be additional features in this series to follow beyond the month of March, focusing on other woman-owned businesses in Harrison Township. Enjoy this read and be proud of our town!
