Mayor’s Minutes

As the weather turns warmer, I know many of us get a burst of energy. Throughout the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons there are numerous events planned around town.

Two Great Events One Fun Saturday

Prepare for an epic day on Main Street with two family-fun events: The annual Fine Arts & Craft Festival and a celebration of the centennial of the first-ever air shipment of produce, asparagus, in America!

Shopping Under the Stars

It’s Thursday and that means festivities on Main Street. Participating Merchants are open with extended hours for fun and savings.

Mom’s & Mimosas

Don’t miss this one-stop shop for all your Mother’s Day gifting, sponsored by Main Street Savvy.

National Rx Drug Take Back Day

Sponsored nationally by the DEA and locally by the Harrison Township Police department, this annual event reminds the public to clean out their medicine cabinets. Prescription medication that’s old or no longer needed poses a risk of accidental ingestion or abuse.

Pack the Crate with YPATT

Our local food bank, Your Place at the Table, is running their annual community-wide food drive – Pack the Crate! Families can receive a crate by contacting YPATT, pack it with food, post it on social media and then pass the crate onto your neighbor or friend to do the same.

Annual Antique Street Fair

Take a stroll down Main Street for family fun, food and treasures including antiques and vintage items offered by local and regional vendors.
