Memorial Day Weekend is upon us already, which marks the official transition to the Summer months, with the weather warming and the school year winding down.

As the weather turns warmer, I know many of us get a burst of energy. Throughout the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons there are numerous events planned around town.
Last week the nation celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week. Please join me in thanking all teachers, everywhere, but especially in our community for the role they play in our children’s lives.
Muslims around the world recognize Ramadan during the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, which this year began on April 1st and ends on May 1st.
As we enter this weekend, those of the Christian and Jewish faiths, worldwide, are set to celebrate Easter and Passover, respectively.
